Note that if you do the option of having new post show up first as noted below you will be looking for page 1 on multi page posts - not the last page.

A problem with doing this option is that links such as to the Underground Cabin Update are sorted in reverse also which will not bring you to the introduction by John but to the last posting instead.  Maybe ok as most members that do the optional switch will know that things start backwards and ones who follow a link to the topic without the optional view switch will end up at the start.  Something to keep in mind if you do the option. ???

Here's how I've set my profile options. Not that this is the best but it is where I'm at now.



The message numbers have changed so I will need to update the links on the homepage and any saved message links will not work.
