Our 20 wide 1.5 story plans call for 2x6 douglas fir for the site built trusses. I can't find douglas fir in our area.
Would spruce fir be an alternative or should I go with yellow pine?
I would suggest either having an engineer review them or check with the local truss plant about having them make something similar.
