Does anyone have experience, and an informed opinion, about PVC roofing systems. We have a flat roof, with many duct perforations and constantly have small leaks. The PVC (IB Systems) is much more costly that other materials (Tar and Gravel, EPDM, TPO). I've read that  membrane systems that use foam as UV protection, can acquire and not let go of water from leaks. The PVC seems not to suffer from that.  PVC also seems to have a working parapet protection model, i.e. parapets are wrapped with the PVC fabric.

Anyone with experience? The quote we are getting for installation of the PVC is breathtakingly high, but I understand that is the norm, and the PVC will outlast other systems by many years, perhaps by a factor of 2-3. Is that for real?
