The Not So Big House

I like the "make my own" idea too.  I made this pot holder/lamp from a manure spreader wheel and a lamp kit from the local hardware store - put in a 6" clear round bulb-  the pot hangers were some type of cable supports from a post tension concrete slab - hook thingys every 4 inches.  The wheel turns on the 1" pipe axle.

Cost:
Scrap steel cut with torch by me- est $2.00
Pipe -$4.00
Lamp kit - $6.00
Bulb -$3.00
Look on the farmers face when he got up in the morning and found his manure spreader wheel missing --- Priceless


Did you know  ----that while John Deere is a well known and reputable company-- the only machine they manufacture that they will NOT stand behind is their manure spreader
