Folding shower for small bathrooms

Pretty neat John.  I can see it would be useful in the under 200 -500 SF cabins.

Like the concept, and looks pretty do-able with standard materials.

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I don't understand what the value is in having the shower fold!  Would this be for tiny cabins that are completely tiled so that, for instance, you'd fold up your shower so you could walk around the kitchen/dining room/bedroom, etc. (whatever space was right across from the folded shower)?  Or is it a case of being able to make the bathroom REALLY tiny because you'd figure that you'd either have the shower down, or be walking between the commode and the basin -- so you wouldn't leave a walk space? 

The picture shows a whole lot of space around the shower, which is what I think is confusing to me . . . .
