(I've just been looking at a site on which it is claimed that having a baby violates intellectual property rights--i.e., patents.   :o

Same article has these.  Pole Houses.

The slide show looks to be going up on a slab, but other places seem to suggest that the houses are perfect for marshy places.

Walls can go pretty much anywhere.
