Title: Structural play hians for moveable cabin
Post by: paul s on October 07, 2019, 01:21:03 PM
Hi,  I am looking for structural plans and specifications for building a structure that is at least 12' wide and at least 28' (hopefully more) long.  That can be moved by machinery/operators that do that.

Starting here for any leads for existing info.  Very willing to purchase such plans if I can find them.

Want to build an asset that can be sold and moved if needed.

I think I may have a handle on this, contacted a manufacturer nearby and they build up to 16' wide , and 48 ' long.

Going for a tour soon, they have special trailer and a "Mule" for delivery. See

The California Vehicle Code requires an oversize load permit for any load exceeding legal weight or dimensions. That would be loads exceeding 14' high (Section 35250), 8'6" wide

(Section 35100), 40' long (single), 65' (truck/trailer), 75' (multi trailers) (Section 35400 & 35401), or 20,000 lbs/axle (Section 35550).
