I am building a shed on 6x6 skids. 2x8 PT joists will rest on top of the skids. I also plan to use 2" foam board insulation between the joists (and tape the edges). In this situation, would people recommend PT subfloor? It will only be 14" from grade, but the foam board should act as a vapor barrier, no?

If I still need PT, is it possible to find PT t&g plywood? I haven't seen it at my local store.

I would think that you need to state where the shed will be built. Key Largo or Tucson might be a factor.

Apologies. It's in Southern Maryland. Also, I've checked around, and there's nowhere to get PT tongue and groove plywood near me. I can get 3/4" PT and just use blocking (though even the blocking is probably excessive ...joists are 16" oc).

It sounds to me that you really can do what is easiest and reasonable. Should last a long time (for many reasons) since you are not in Key Largo ;)
