Does 7/16 OSB go on the inside walls and ceilings before insalling carsiding? ..... or do most just install directly to the studs?
Most install directly to the studs. In a few places they want a layer of taped drywall first for fire. If I'm doing a pattern or going over sheets of foam I run osb first, you can glue and nail to it anywhere which is nice.
