Paris Hilton, seen on her way to court Friday, screamed "It's not right!" after being ordered to serve the remainder of her original 45-day sentence in jail.

Yes- the whole Paris deal-

No matter what happens - her stock just went up. She can now charge more for appearances. She was set for life even before she was born. Its not like she ever actually did anything great for society (like her parents with the hotel chain) - all she does is ride on their coat tails.

I'm not saying that I wished I was a "star bellied Sneetch," it's the way life is. You start of poor - work harder and harder to provide your family with a decent lifestyle, yet the money gets you less and less every day. There are those select few that start in life with enormous resources, and all they have to do is get themselves arrested and thrown in a luxury jail for three weeks to increase their pocketbook-  exponentially.

Thats the thing - If one us "plain bellied sneetches" got put in jail, most likely nobody will ever notice or care. Some "star bellied sneetches" might even look at is as an affirmation of the so called "higher" status they hold in American society.

Unfortunately it is us (not me - I think she's a little slut) who pretend they are cool who feed their place of status.  What kind of example does that set -- it just breeds a more dysfunctional society.   It is actively promoted by the US mainstream media to keep the sheeple stupid and unconcerned with the real  important events that .gov does not want us to concern ourselves with.  They are also above us.  :-/

Here's a good note , our current Mayor  is not seeking re election , so our / my town has a bunch of much needed leadership change coming soon. Some current  council members are running for Mayor and they mostly are also up for re-election in thier council seat , so can't run for both , so who ever loses is out. And new folks are running for those seats , so all and all a good thing. New ideas , old habits / gruges will be out of the way and or new in place , so maybe some thing can happen other than the petty argueing about who's plan , idea , etc . They'll have a whole new list of ideas to argue about

I go away to the mountains for a couple weeks, never turn on the radio, no TV, work picking up dead wood, cutting it for firewood or taking it to the burn pile in the cleared pumice bowl for future burning/disposal, go hiking, 4-wheeling, 3-wheeling, even some 2-wheeling, and read a couple books. When we crawl out of the woods and turn the radio on Paris Hilton crying that "it's just not right"..... Arg!  Turned off the radio and almost turned around, but we needed more beer. and/or beah!

PEG - some of us are the sheeple - we can stop that by sticking our head above the flock - looking around and deciding if we are one of them or we will believe our eyes when we see what is going on and we don't look at what they see, then tell them no -- you didn't just see that.  That can't be possible -- they would never do that.
