Title: the Genny started on the 4th pull
Post by: Windpower on June 23, 2009, 05:42:54 PM
Good thing, too, because the battery was dead

I went to take out the DVD for the trip to Blockbuster

and the instant I touched the eject button the power went out

weird timing --- I thought wth ?    ???

anyway ComEd says it will be out till 8:30 pm (they are usually wrong by several hours) -- so it is a good chance to "blow the carbon out" of the old Honda

at least the internets works .....

not a bad time to run a can of sea foam through it too.

Ain't alternate energy great.....when it works :-\

+1 on the seafoam or Lucas (I've been using Lucas this summer. It costs a little more but works like a charm)

Not sure how the neighbors would feel about me cranking up my generator.

On the one hand it makes a hellatious racket... On the other hand...

...it's big enough to power (the emergency needs of) the whole neighborhood! ;)

(12.5Kw should keep all the freezers from thawing)
