Hi,
Here are a lot of plans for buid-it-yourself solar space heating, water heating, sunspaces, ... projects.  All free.

Feedback on what you found that was good, or what you did not find appreciated.

Great site, Gary.

How about adding wood gas and methane generation. Not directly solar but are energy sources.  I didn't have time to look at the whole site as there is tons of information there.  I may have missed some links.

Here is the simplest most practical wood gas generator I have found.  http://www.gengas.nu/byggbes/contents.shtml

The Icyball page courtesy of Demian if I recall correctly.

Thanks.  I've already sent the general link, and the gengas link off to a bunch of people, most of whom are better fabricators than I am.

Hi Glenn,
Thanks for the links -- I'll look into the wood gas and bio fuels, and see if we can't put a new section up on this.

Thanks Glenn -- I'll look into adding those links -- I have started a small Biofuels area.

Kimmer, I moved the above topic from the old forum in case there is something you can use there.  Here is information on how they send the light down the tube.
