Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

as a hunter all I can say is that I hope a deer of that magnitude makes the mistake of jumping my fence in the next few months.  

were 30-45 days pre-rut and his shoulders are round and soft now.  that bucks is every bit of 190# on the hoof.
