The truly eye opening thing for me is the idea of using a spare tire while splitting wood.  Dang.... what a great idea.

Reminds me when Glenn used a Bungee Cord around his wood to keep it together while splitting.  Getting too old to tackle that stuff manually anymore.  Like my 25 ton splitter.  It lets me get out of bed in the morning without crawling.
