Title: Spa rehab - need ideas
Post by: Chuckca on January 29, 2005, 04:22:17 PM
Our spa/hot-tub is an 8 x 8' above ground model and is 14 yrs old...it's worth the time and effort to rehab....

Any ideas about new siding...over time the red- wood siding has gotten a bit rough...I've been to Lowe's and Home Depot...NOTHING....

Ideas and comments are appreciated...we thought about removing it from the back yard..."no can do"

Thanks
Chuck (CA)

Do try to reuse the redwood for something.  My local fine furniture makers charge by the hour for planing (so their time is covered when they take out old staples, broken screws, etc.)

One of those composite materials might work as a fairly maintenance free covering.
