Roof Truss Strength Testing

I found a pretty cool video of the 'destruction' of 3 different roof trusses.
They are being tested for strength in an unfamiliar manner:

Neat.. I'll betcha the last set of trusses would have held with better bracing against racking and sturdier sheathing..

I don't understand what the point was. ??? It simply says, "don't drive a 10K lb truck on your roof at speed. Monster trucks are kind of fun, but other than that....? 
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.
