I just ran across this elsewhere, I thought it might be of interest to others.

Maybe it is my Vista, but that was not fun to play with.  I had issues with my screen not showing everything unless I hovered over the tab.  Hard to explain, but not a good time.  What I really like is Chief Architect, but who can afford that!?  But at least I can play with the trial version for 4 hours at a time :D

I use this on my windows 7 machine and it works perfectly

Actually one of the best free programs out there in my opinion... very easy to learn, very good 2D and 3D views, and you can download almost anything from the 3D google warehouse in caldera format

Almost infinite design choices and well thought out!
