Growth of the Soil

Just finished reading this one- "Growth of the Soil" by Knut Hamsun, a Norwegian. Published in 1921.

If you have some time to kill (bad weather perhaps?), and enjoy a good read you may want to pick it up. Homesteading at it's purest, full of wisdom that is as true now as it was then.

I could read it again right now. It's that good.
