Title: Great Book
Post by: jwv on May 20, 2006, 08:45:07 AM
Found this at the library yesterday Building Green https://www.oikos.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=191&osCsid=4328924fdca2aac930a7cd055f0ecbb1 and it's packed with info about everything having to do with design, siting and building. The authors then step you through building a small cabin with a living roof.  The building part is aimed at cordwood, strawbale and cob construction but 3/4 of the info would apply to any building project.

I'm really enjoying this book.

Lots of Vernacular Architecture pictures

Whoops, just did a search and Texan in Cali had already found this book.  But I guess that means it really is a good book!  ;D
