I'm planning on building two 3-600 square foot homes on an acre of land. I've been doing a little research but would love any info in the form of links or advice. I'm looking into modern building techniques and ultra efficient sustainability.

Welcome Ryan you're in the right place. I'm currently building a 300+ sq. ft. house. you'll find lots of info on this site. Look around and check out the owner builder gallery.
