Often, our ignorance is not as great as our reluctance to act on what we know.

All I have seen said it was fake propaganda with steering facts thrown in.  This really takes the question out of where it is coming from and why with pretty credible evidence.

Hopefully the flock will not continue to be steered toward the precipice so easily.

Thanks, Windpower.

Lew Rockwell interviews Naomi Wolf

"A deeply worried Naomi Wolf, author of The End of America, fears that both TSA actions and the threatened use of the 1917 Espionage Act against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, a journalist, signal a rapid escalation on multiple fronts toward the end of liberty for all of us. Historically, the state always uses the excuse of national security as a tactic to subjugate citizens, forcing nakedness and sexual intrusions upon us, unless and until, courageous acts of resistance and mass opposition finally force these totalitarians, like the TSA, to back down. But we must act if we are to have a chance."

I think Wikileaks actually has done the intelligence and diplomatic services a favor by revealing how vulnerable their supposedly secure e-mail was.

In the business world, i learned a long time ago that e-mail was the tool of the devil-----careless and cavalier use of it will always, sooner or later, put your butt in the fire. If you want to say or write something "secret"----do not use e-mail. If you ever, as i have, had hostile lawyers subpoena ALL your e-mails and hard copy documents, you would learn a new respect for discretion----fortunately, no "smoking guns" were found in the 8000+ e-mails in my records (being innocent also helped).

ps: "delete" does not really delete anything----cyber space is essentially immortal.
