Has anyone here ever lived in a yurt?

I lived in a HOGAN in New Mexico once does that count?
I cut it three times and it's still too short.

We briefly considered one, but given the falling windblown tree branches, elk looking for things to rub their antlers on, deer, the curiosity of hungry bears, the presence of field mice & squirrels, plus the winter snowfalls I didn't think they were suitable for our location.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.
