when i update my materials list, do i update the pdf file, or the doc. file?

i noticed i got them both.  i wasn't able to open the doc. file, but daniel did
from his office and printed it

my computer is brand new, so i'm shocked that i don't have a program to read
doc. files

and, of course, i'm assuming THATS the file i'll need to keep updated, the doc. file,
so i guess i best get busy getting a program that will read doc.'s

Open Office will do the job and it's free.

There are several free programs that will open doc files. You should have MS wordpad installed on a new PC computer. Then there is Google Docs which is free and you can access your docs from any computer. Works with Mac or PC.

Bill Gates is hoping for his cut -- but there are ways around that - as noted above. :)
