I am traveling in Israel and the middle east right now and there have been some email problems with the secure order form messages getting through to me. I've heard from two people who didn't get their plans.
If you have placed an order in the last 10 days and haven't received an "order sent" message after 3 or 4 days, please reorder through the secure order page: https://id56.securedata.net/jshow/y2k/esorder.html
We manually process all the card orders so your credit card is not charged when you place the order. Duplicate orders will not bill the card. So please resend the order through the order form link and mention that this is a resent order in the message area.
Sorry for the inconvenience. We can ship your plans out quickly once the order is properly received.
You will get an email confirmation of this within 24 hours.

Things have smoothed out on the order and email front. I am back here in Jerusalem after a visit to Saad, an older kibbutz near Gaza. They have three or four missiles fired into the settlement each week. When this happens they get a 10-20 second warning on an air raid siren. This is only enough time to get under a doorway or masonry stairway.
No one in the kibbutz has been killed yet but some missiles have landed close enough to houses to blow all the windows out. These are not highly targeted weapons, more like the old German V-2s - they go up in the air, they come down, they go boom. Most explode in the fields and orchards. People seem to take it in stride.
Here is what they have built to protect the kids. This is a very heavy concrete structure built on top of the children's day care center. Four foot columns supporting several feet of concrete on the roof.

We spent only one night visiting with my sister in-law and there were no incomings that night I am glad to say. Kibbutzniks are said to be tough... I think I agree!!
I believe I'll take my hill and dale wandering bears over any aerial incoming missiles, guided or not.
Interesting, John - don't think I'd like any missiles aimed at myself, either :-\ Send more pixs & stories! :)
So you're just kibbutzing around the countryside, John?
Oy vey! :-[ I couldn't help myself... d*
Here is a link to more photos of this trip...

I will try not to mess up this thread and leave it to get back on topic (if desired ;)). :-\ :-* d* d*
You are really pressing your luck there, John. You know how strict our forum rules are about thread hijacking. ::) [crz]
