Title: grandfather cottage changes - permits

If we want to make plan changes... just moving interior walls and windows. Would we need our plans redrawn or can you just attach something like the picture I have... The exterior walls and roofing is still the same.

If your plan layout program can produce dimensioned drawings at 1/4" scale that may be enough. I would print it out and take it to the plan checker for your building department. They should be able to help you determine what else you may need to do or things that may need to be marked on the plan. If redrawing is needed they may have a list of local designers that can be contacted (mine does).

PS - try and turn off the textures, colors and furniture. You want a simple black and white drawing with room labels, window & door sizes and major dimensions.
