Good or Bad?
Do you actually use a fixture or just a hole in the wall, Stink? hmm
Reason I ask is a friend had a hose and funnel going through the wall -- seems his son did too. They were also from the PNW, and I was wondering if it was a trend in the area?

I am thinking about a wall mounted toilet for the bottom floor. I want to put a slab down after we get the post and bean up. However later on I am certain I would like a toilet and a sink off the garage down stairs. Just thought it might be easier....
Plus, I was thinking with the pressure those toilets flush the outgoing sewer line should never get clogged.
I hope I am making sense.
I think we need Scott the plumber here. I think the big commercial wall toilets take a bigger water supply than a house normally has.

I was reading about the water pressure it needs. But can't that be achieved with adapting down with a small water pipe? (I hope I am making sense here)
Our well pump maintains 70psi.
If all you're worried about is a urinal, save some money and space....Just install the sink. Remember to remove the dishes before using :) c* ;D rofl [yuk] [slap] [toilet]
If I remember correctly most of those commercial toilets require a 1" supply line.

The pressure would do nothing to keep the waste side open. The waste lines are 3' or 4" pipes and vented - no pressure at all.

I have just searched and seen a few that didn't need a lot of water but $4000 is a bit spendy to take a poo...but it comes with a complimentary shower and drier.

Your looking at a very high end...I can get a nice wall mount for about 300
Since it doesn't need a large quantity of water, it could still be done with a home well system.

Stink: Honey, how much pressure does our well have?
NetHog: (head still in laptop) Erm, I think it can do 70psi... not sure without looking it up.
Stink: (tap tap tap)
Stink: (later) Erm, Honey, are you sure it's 70psi, everyone's laughing at me...
Ok, so the well water rate is 20gpm. We went with "SmartFlo" constant pressure pump, which is theoretically adjustable from 40psi-100psi (http://www.grundfos.com/web/HomeUs.nsf/Webopslag/PAVA-526KFY, http://www.grundfos.com/Web/HomeUs.nsf/Webopslag/PAVA-52NVSM). I'm not sure what it is currently configured at.

Actually 70 PSI is nice for a lot of things if you have it.
