Good morning, we are building the universal cottage and have made the with 22ft instead of 20 ft for the stairs to be up to code. We are going to be using engineered open web trusses to span the 22ft. I am worried about bounce. Could we use a smaller Beam from stairs across living room to limit deflection?
Your supplier should be able to dial in a very low amount of deflection for the web trusses.
