Hello All,  :)
I was thinking about ordering these for my 20x30 cabin, is Hot Dipped Galvanized necessary?
I might also have these fabricated locally. the brackets cost around $35.00 each

If your using ACQ treated lumber you need what they call ZMAX.

If you are not using treated beams or posts and it not exposed to the weather you can get away with non-ZMAX.

So it depends on how long you expect to take to get in the dry, if your thinking 6 or 8 months to get dried in I'd say use the XMAX.
