Interesting Frank.  Wonder what kid of a roof they put on or is it flat roof.

I was wondering about the roof too.  Much of Germany would get snow.....hmm, well if someone can read german maybe they can deduce that from the site.

I read German, but this gets a bit technical for my beer hall proficiency.  It is a flat roof.  The title seems to indicate there is some sandwiching of cement and other materials, likely some board.   There must be some product called Sarnafil roof foil because it is referenced along with some structural references I do not completely understand.  Below is the excerpt from the site dealing with the ceiling.

The only parts of Germany that get much accumulation of snow are in southern Germany--Bavaria, etc.   Last year was exceptional with some high profile roof collapses, etc.

But I digress...

Prost!

Das Flachdach besteht aus Sarnafil Dachfolie mit zwei Ablauftrichter und einem verzinkten Abschlussblech.
