Twas the day before Season and all through the fields
the deer were a stirring all around the house.

The guns were all placed in the corners with care in
hopes that deer season would soon be there.

The children and old had their noses pressed against the glass of the doors
in hopes that deer season would soon be there while the visions of venison
danced in their heads

This was the scene at the house today on the day before deer season. The pictures are a little low tech in that all were taken with  3.1MP Kodak Camera through a pair of binoculars.  Not bad considering.

Oh by the way I am not on good terms with my 13YOA who said " But dad it is tomarrow and who would know if I hung it in the barn until tomarrow"  Sometimes teaching the right way doesn't always seem right.

Nice Deer John!

Good lesson. Tell Stephen, I'm proud of him!

Any fool can kill something. Sportsmen....do it by the rules.
These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here!

That's a beautiful sight to see!

And a wonderful lesson taught by Dad! Rules are rules.

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.
