That's great ;D

You are a hard one to stay ahead of. :)

I enjoyed your last thought, Stink.  I hope you have another one someday. :-/

Are you a smart fellar or a fart smellar?

LOL! ;D

glenn kangiser

Stink -- you are just such an ornery little rascal. ::)  We must not talk about my intestinal indescretions and idiosyncrasies  -- I'll never tell. :-/ :)

Lets have a cow thought for the day. :)

Did you know,

QuoteCows burp an abundant supply of it (methane) every day [ch8212] about 280 liters per animal (in other words, the average cow could fill 140 two-liter soda bottles with gas daily

"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar."

I love it when you come up with stuff like that, Stink.  ::)

I'm afraid I may have misunderestimated* your brilliance. :-/

Never go to bed early to save on the cost of candles if the result is twins.

No, no no, not always. No.  :o

IMO   ;D
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

glenn kangiser

Ladies, ladies, ladies-- you have left me speechless. ;D

That would be one of those should have stayed up things, I guess, Stink -- but how would you know if you couldn't foresee the future? :-?

...and Homegrown... Maybe 3 is even better? :)

I don't know... I think the doctor was listening around for more than one heartbeat today.  She found the baby and then moved over to the other side with the doppler and listened again to the heartbeat in a totally different location, and then announced that she was going to move up the date for my ultrasound to next month.  She didn't say anything about twins, but I thought it was strange.   :-?

glenn kangiser

What ever happened to the good ol' days when you never knew what it was until it popped out, and the baby actually got to decide what day or night and hour it was going to be born-- not just before or after the doctor's golf match. ;D

Probably not in your case, Homegrown  - I was just thinking in general. :)

Ha ha... those doctors are smart... hey, they went through a lot of school for that... of course they've figured out a way to try to control and time labor to fit in with their schedules.  With the first two, my doc had a lot to do with when they were born, but thankfully she had no control over the first one arriving on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, with the second, she induced when I think she shouldn't have... I don't think I'll ever give over control that easily again because it was miserable.  This time I'll probably go with a midwife if I can find one after we move...they're less likely to do all that unecessary stuff.

glenn kangiser

I believe that when it is ready it will come out. 8-)

Redoverfarm

Glenn and anyone else interested.  I ran across this the other day and thought it was a pretty good reference to what products are actually made in the USA.  If you have seen it before you are one step ahead of me.  Not real sure where to post it but it could be related to "thought for today"
