We have our plans and permit, and now, we are finally ready to go! My husband and I are building the 20 X 34 Universal Cottage with a complete wrap around porch. I have been waiting on this for thirteen years, and it's finally happening! We are going to do most of the work ourselves and pay for it as we go. It may take us a couple of years to get it finished, but we will not have a mortgage when it's complete. Things are a little slow right now. We have had the footings poured and are currently purchasing the block we need for the foundation. We are also trying to get our current house ready to go on the market. When we sell it, we plan on living in our camper while we finish the house. Because our older two kids are in college, we do not need as much room. Our youngest is a junior in high school. He is as ready to move as we are. I think he would live in a tent on our land if we would let him, and I would probably move with him! :) (https://i1353.photobucket.com/albums/q673/cnjn915/Our%20Dream%20Home/IMG00258-20110917-1121_zps5328c5c7.jpg)

we're building an adaptation of the 20x34. I didn;t include a lot of detail in that thread but if you have any questions as you go along let me know
Can you share you floor plan?
Here is a link to the floor plan on CountryPlans.com. We are using the standard plan and just extending the porch all the way around the house.
