This is an interesting little chart about the gas prices over the past three years. It is adjustable to your area.

That was interesting to play with... I checked the 3 yr timeline & saw that gas prices have doubled in California  :'(

Plotting crude oil/barrel trends along with the price of gas/gallon was pretty interesting too.  Gas isn't going up quite as fast, at least in Tennessee.  

We've always thought that our gas was really really expensive--compared to the next county to the west at least.  But we're running a bit less than the Tennessee average.  And Savannah TN is just a less expensive anomaly.
