Post by: Mikelopic on February 06, 2005, 11:03:44 AM
hi, my plan is to leave my rafter tails exposed, appox. a 15" over hang, my question is venting, I will have a ridge vent,an air space between the roof and insulation to the wall.I do not like circle cut out vents every 16" on my exterior, I will be using t-111 to the rafter bottom and block the rest between rafters, I need a good look, can anyone help? thank you..Mike

You can gang cut your vent blocking with two v-notches and staple screening over them. These are usually installed as spacer blocks as you are laying out the rafters.
