Title: Taxes and public perception
Post by: archimedes on May 17, 2010, 11:52:38 AM
I found this to be an interesting article about how public perception can differ greatly from reality.

Yep.  Pure-D 'mazin.  For the first time in 8 years I received a (small) refund.  I'm sure it would have been gobs bigger if that damn kenyon fella hadn't raised taxes on 95% of us. :(

Leo, you can't be serious; the bailouts, the Tarp, the healthcare bill bill now over a trillion dollars, the unemployment extensions, unemployment at 9.9% etc... Where do you think this money is coming from anyway? Bush was a tax and spender and Obama is proudly following in his foot steps, though he has proved to spend more than a drunken sailor!

Sorry but drunken sailors are claiming they stop spending when they run out of money and are offended by that statement.... [waiting]

Glenn,

As a former Marine, I agree that even drunken sailors will stop spending when they pass out.
