On the Shantyboat page there was a page of plans from Sears that looked awfully familiar, down to the laundry up on the flagpole.

It sure does look like something from one of the Stiles' books, Rustic Retreats (author is listed as just David, why I've been confused before.)

Rustic Retreats is where I got the idea for the treehouse design.

Thanks Amanda,as many of You know the inside of boats can be beautiful and confortable for such a small space.For those inclined many of johns designs especially the little house line would fit nicely on a barge type hull.note the early Roy Rodgers home.Mc naughtons evening song  design and anything by  Phil bolger.
