Oh, another distraction has been that my brother recently suffered some small strokes, but he's on the mend.

Hey carroll, thank you for the nice words, and glad you enjoy.
I gotta say, I have as much fun with them as anyone.
Now I must forage like mad, cause if dawdle and skip by the evening edition, Sassy will sic Glenn on me or smpm.............

I really enjoyed the Memorex ad (way back when) where the guy was gettin' blown away by the amp, and when I found the dog hanging out the window with sun glasses on, well, had to find that ol' ad to  cut/paste.....took 20-30 minutes discovering the right word search combo...Memorex being the one word I'd forgotten.....go figure

that was a perfect caption for that ad!  Quite a different impression of the "little cutie-pie"!  I'm still chuckling . . . .  I send jokes on to my siblings from here -- I'm going to try and copy some of your fauxtos, too, if you don't mind.

PS  Although I cannot figure out the one where the blob is saying, "I had catfish for dinner, and now neither of them will talk to me" ??  Sorry to have to ask for an explanation, but it's driving me nuts!
