This Firefox extension allows you to use your G-mail or multiple G-mail accounts for online storage of any types of files, so storage can be near unlimited. There are some fairly large daily limits per account. Good for files you need to be able to access from anywhere.

I'm thinking there could be uses for it.
You could export your bookmarks to a file and save it there - available from any computer then.
File small copies of your photos there - lots of things I guess.
I found the link when I was upgrading my Dictionary Tooltips for Firefox - double click a word and a dictionary pops up with definition and a thesaurus.
