Hey folks,
been lurking for a long time but it has finally come time to build my own cabin. Located on a gulf island off of Vancouver Island we have decided upon a 24x32 cabin with a loft and a concrete pier foundation.
We inherited the land and there is a blank slate right now except for a couple sheds and our old trailer but the cabin will be for renting to summer tourists and a deer and waterfowl hunting cabin for myself an the guys come fall and winter
I have read a ton of info on foundations here, that is likely where most of my questions will start as we start moving along with the project, but for now just getting that first post in and if anyone else is in the Vancouver Island area maybe I'll have some questions regarding weather and things to look out for here.
