A Cynic? Me?

So... Son, DiL and wife sitting here last night after the grandbabies are asleep talking about the current state of the economy.  I, expressing my glass half empty POV was accused by DiL of being a cynic and always seeing the worst instead of the best. 

But as we all know the outlook for continued prosperity ala the post WWII decades is fading as population increases consume more land, resources and create waste of all sorts.

So the discussion evolved into a realist POV versus a rose colored glasses POV.  No agreement reached even after several glasses of CRW (cheap red wine).

But I did send her a couple of links that might provide some here with new insight or at least reinforce previously held POV's.
