Starting my 2nd 'build thread' here on CP. My first is here... http://countryplans.com/smf/index.php?topic=10784 and that is still just a dream at this point. We hope to build there in a couple years. Was hoping to build a shed up on our land this summer but too many other things to do (and pay for) here.
Instead, I'll be building a 10x12 shed here in my backyard. This will be used for additional storage at least - i dream of some 'man cave' type space, but I just don't think thats in the cards. We will see.
I'm going to build it as if it was a Tiny House in terms of the deck, walls etc - the shell. Not going to finish the interior... but it will be an over-build shed I guess. I like the idea of a training run.
I purchased the Little House Plans (http://www.countryplans.com/jshow.com/y2k/listings/29.html) and will shrink it down from 10x14 to 10x12 to be within city restrictions. Its going to be storage for the lawnmower, snowblower etc.
Ground is still frozen here but its starting to warm up. Hopefully I can finish some of the other projects and get ready to get this going by June or so.
Gotta figure out if I can build a loft in it per city ordinances... I think I can.

Is this the Long Lake just north of the Cities? I had a Kayak race their a couple years ago, hope to get back into it this summer (hopefully my build will be done) and if I do will be back their to race again, but in a canoe this time. Long Lake is home of the Rice Creek Boat club. Great organization.
