As much as I'd love to have a big revolution and get the Government changed. I pray daily that nothing chaotic happens for the sake of my daughter.

and I pray daily for the sake of my children that something does.  I do not like the path this government is on.  I do not like the debt we are cursing our children and grandchildren with.  I do not like the encroachment on our civil rights, or our privacy, I do want things to change, if it require chaos to occur then so be it.

Exactly so. Our generation and our parents' have fiddled while Washington burned.  d* If our decendants are to have any chance of living free, we must change direction very soon. There will be a cost in blood and treasure connected with such a change, and the longer we wait, the higher the cost will be.

Is it too much to hope that leaders of the caliber of our founders will emerge in our lifetimes, and enough people will finally "get it" to follow them in bringing about a resurgence of liberty?

forgive me if i have the details wrong but back in old testament israel they had what was called the "year of jubilee" every 50 years where all debts were forgiven and the economy exploded. the reason was as i recall due to the fact that any economic plan that man could come up with would fail in time due to many reasons.
