Hello There,
In a previous post I asked about using plastic clips for nail-less application for attaching wood siding. Even though I received the clips and the siding, I have decided not to use them simply because it would need a compressor/hose/stapler gun and electricity, which I do not have any of.
So I opted for using the tried, tested, and true method of using nails. So now the question is what type of nails to use for cove style white pine wood siding (semi transparent color) as well as for the trims (corner/window/door) which are of different color from the siding (also semi transparent color)? Do they need to be color matching? if so any special type of paint and/or method to apply the paint is needed?
Thanks a lot,
Sharbin
