Cool information. Creative.  I once made a Tesla coil that would light fluorescent lights across the room and make your hair stick up on end.  No need for that here- the power is all over. :)

Interesting... it seems like there was a lawsuit by several citizens in Fresno a few years ago - a lot of homes were built along the high tension lines, IIRC, there was an increase of leukemia, don't remember how it all turned out.

Here's an interesting link that talks about HAARP in Alaska & other facilities around the world that use electromagnetic energy.  HAARP is still supposedly "experimental" - they're experimenting on changing the weather by superheating the ionosphere with microwaves (the HAARP facility has a billion watts last time I checked).  They are also experimenting with "Star Wars" defense as well as other uses... here's the link

Star Wars, Star Trek and Killing Politely (http://www.earthpulse.com/src/subcategory.asp?catid=1&subcatid=5)

Supposedly they are using a lot of Tesla's research & inventions (most of his research was confiscated by the US gov't when he died).  Some interesting reading.  There are a lot of audio interviews on the site.
