Let me add my best wishes for his family as well. My grandfather was not so lucky as Major Winters. He fought over there and two days before the war ended, was killed in Czechoslovakia. Some gave all, but all gave some. RIP.

His passing is truly sad news.

But what a courageous and dignified life he led. Truly a hero.
