Interesting link, although I seem to recall a recent thread where someone wanted to do a plywood plank floor and several on here did not recommend it for a variety of reasons.

I just scanned down though the comments left about this project and boy did almost everyone drink the cool aid.  :o

At least one person commented that they still have a pine floor that will wear.

And how do you clean the cracks?

And they are thinking to doing this for a kitchen floor.   ???  Holy cow, can you say delaminate?

If one looks around and has some patience, one can find real flooring for less than $1.00 a sq. ft.; or even real pine planks.

I looked at the referned pictures and like before it still looks like plywood to me, not a real strip wood floor. The grain just doesn't appear right to me. I think I'd nail down the plywood sheets and call them what it really is; plywood.   But that's just me. Sooner or later I'd be putting ceramic or porcelain tile over it anyhow.

Maybe draw lines on the plywood with a Sharpie marker?   ???
