Every once in a while someone will post a question regarding what particular steps occur before the other in the building process.  I ran across this link which explains the different steps in the order of which they should occur.  I have not read the entire link to determine how accurate it is but while proofing it seems fairly close.  You may choose to use this as a sort of "guideline" .
