Post by: Charley on July 01, 2005, 12:14:31 PM
Can anyone out there inform me on where and how to purchase pressure treated beams in Tennessee??

Thanks.

Decks are big in Middle Tennessee, so PT lumber of various kinds is widely available.

4x4, 6x6 2x10 (to be doubled, perhaps) etc.

I've gotten it from independent lumberyards and the big box guys.  I'm starting to see the less environmentally suspect now.  And the metal connectors designed for PT lumber.

Presumably West and East TN as well.

Three stars on the Tennessee flag, three Grand Divisions.  Middle is  (mostly at least) area codes 615 and 931. west of the Eastern/Central Time Zone line, and except for a bit of Hardin County, East of the Tennessee River.

So it's proper to capitalize the areas. ;D

But if you're asking about nice dry certified strong PT stuff, I don't know a thing about it.
