There was a company that started dome houses near the ski community where I live. I didn't really look close but I think it was an inflatable form then using concrete or similar material.  Didn't really take off for some reason.  Don't know whether it was the climate or what.  Only made 3-4 then abandoned the project.  Maybe wasn't high dollar enough for the resort area. ::)

It is interesting John but it looks like a community project. I suspect it would be difficult for one person to fill the tubes. I do see some possibilities for underground housing and foundations by the owner/builder though.

Any idea of the cost of the tubes?
