Hi Corina.

I haven't been able to find that - could you provide a link to the posting or project you are interested in?

Is this the stair you are asking about?

This is a three part wrap-around stair with two landings. It has opened up a place for the stove at the center of the space. Lisa started with the Solar Saltbox plan, but this stair is a modification of the standard wrap-around stair that is in that plan.

yes, this is the strawbale house and the stairwell I was referring to. Thank you.
Anychance that you know how to get the floor plans?

Corina

I have the floor plns for the salt box. I will have to check but I don't remember an alternative stairwell modification in the plans, I will double check my plans. Lisa did a gret job! I am glad she posted her home.

The Saltbox plans have a standard U-shaped stair. This was a modification of that to provide a place for the woodstove in the middle. Lisa customized a number of things in her plans. She may have worked with a designer, architect or builder to make these adjustments. Whoever it was they did a nice job! Customizing a stock plan is a good way to get a personalized project that better fits your site and lifestyle.
